Wedding # 3 Sian & Dan
Our son Daniel and his lovely fiancee Sian announced they were getting in Cyprus last year, a little card saying to hold the date [ and find flights and a place to stay]
It was our first family wedding abroad, the bride and groom did all the planning themselves with a lovely wedding planner. They tied the knot here https://vasilias.nikoklis.com/vasilias-nikoklis-inn-cyprus-the-perfect-private-wedding-venue/
On arriving in Cyprus 23 September we were luxuriating in 30 plus degrees in the day, and mid twenties at night. We did stress a little about what to wear, how to get it there and how to keep cool whilst we were at the wedding, luckily the weather turned the heat down a little. They were married on 2 October at 4pm, the day was beautiful, sunny and mid twenties, cooling slightly in the evening.
We had a few more days before coming home, which we spent with our other children and their partners in a villa in the hills just outside Paphos.
This kind of wedding means that some people can't make it - my eldest daughter is not able to fly so couldn't be there - she did get a mention on the day and beautiful flowers were sent to her, and both grannies too.
